:: Their debut is one of my favourite records of 2010, now it’s time for new music by The Lighthouse and the Whaler! I’m pretty excited…
Following their self-titled debut album released in late 2009, The Lighthouse and the Whaler are now releasing their sophomore effort. Entitled ‘This is an Adventure’, the record is in stores today (September 18, 2012) as a self-release. The ten featured songs were written during a six-month period and recorded in Seattle at Bear Creek Studios. The album was produced by Ryan Hadlock (who has worked with bands such as the Lumineers and Ra Ra Riot). Listen above to Venice, the song is available for free download via Soundcloud. ‘This is an Adventure’ is exclusively streaming in its entirety over at Paste Magazine. The band hit the road for an US tour last Saturday, check out upcoming concerts below.
