Walla is a Los-Angeles-based indie-rock/synth-pop outfit that unites five young men from different countries all over the world: Alessio Balsemin from Italy [drums], Ian Charlie from Indonesia, Gabriel Nava Rodrigues from Brazil, Jonathan Hoonch Kim from Korea and Mauricio Carcamo from Mexico/El Salvador. And to make things even more complicated, three are currently in the US on student visas that will be running out shortly, and Walla’s future is not secured. But for now the guys have self-released their second EP in seven months. It’s entitled ‘Nature’ and dropped via the band’s Soundcloud on July 09, 2013. It contains four uplifting, summery songs perfectly suited to get you hooked. The guys are supported by music promotion agency Danger Village, and the EP is streaming entirely below (via its Soundcloud). You can buy the EP worldwide on iTunes. The wonderful anthem-like Crazy World is taken off the short release as official single. Hope you enjoy the songs as much as I do!
