The Line Of Best Fit − Courtney Barnett – Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit

Debut: Slum Sociable – Anyway (2015/01/19)

:: A true standout track!

Slum Sociable are a duo from Melbourne’s city district of Mordialloc making (as they call it themselves) “lo fo, washed out jazz hop“. Two weeks ago, they debuted with their first official track Anyway – take a listen above.

Anyway was released as digital single on January 19, 2015 via Liberation Music. You can buy your copy from iTunes. Slum Sociable’s yet untitled debut EP is set for release in March via Liberation Music.

On occasion of the song premiere over at The Line Of Best Fit, the duo said: “‘Anyway’ just kind of trucks along at its own pace, which is similar to the writing process, and even more so with the way we were living at the time we made it. Maybe that’s why our friend Molerat likes it. Or maybe he just likes a harp hangin’ loose over a groove? Who knows with Molerat.”
