New Album: White Arrows – In Bardo (2014/09/15) / New Track ‘Nobody Cares’

:: What a fun listen.

White Arrows are Mickey Church [vox/guitar], John Paul Caballero [electronics/guitar], Steven Vernet [bass], Andrew Naeve [electronics/guitar] and Henry Schiff [drums] from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2011, White Arrows make music somewhere between phsychedelic rock and electronic indie pop. The band released their debut album Dry Land is Not A Myth in 2012 and have been constantly touring worldwide afterwards with bands such Cults, The Naked And Famous, !!! and Santigold. Now, White Arrows sophomore album In Bardo is just a few days away.

In Bardo is released in North America on September 16, 2014 via Votiv Music. The album will be available as digital download, CD and signed 12″ vinyl LP. You can buy digitally from iTunes or order In Bardo in all versions from Pledge Music.

Funded by a Pledge Music campaign, the album was recorded last winter by the band with producer Jimmy Messer at his Los Angeles studio The Tube. For White Arrows, this was the first real studio recording experience. In a press release, Andrew Naeve explains: “We Loved it. It was a very freeing experience. Jimmy had good perspective on guitar, which was very helpful because that’s where we were trying to shift.”

Nobody Cares is the fourth song off of In Bardo unveiled by the band, listen to it above. The previously released album tracks We Can’t Ever Die and Leave It Alone are streaming below.
