New Single: Deptford Goth – The Lovers (2014/08/13)

:: Really cannot wait for this album!

Deptford Goth’s immensely beautiful and fragile full-length debut Life After Defo ranks high amongst my favourite albums of last year, I still listen to it often and I always enjoy the stripped back, quiet nature of his songs. Ten days ago, the Peckham-based experimental pop artist, whose real name is Daniel Woolhouse, has announced his sophomore LP Songs and unveiled with The Lovers a wonderful first single off of it.

The Lovers was released on August 13, 2014 via 37 Adventures and is available to buy as digital single from iTunes. Listen to the song above and watch our for more new music by Deptford Goth soon.

Songs won’t be out before November 03 via 37 Adventures/PIAS Recordings (November 04 in North America), but you can already pre-order by now. The album of eleven songs (+ an alternative mix of The Lovers as digital bonus track) will be available as download, CD and LP. You can pre-order your physical copy from Rough Trade or the label’s Bandcamp and digitally from iTunes. You’ll also receive The Lovers as immediate download upon digital pre-order.
