Debut Album: Forest Swords – Engravings (2013/08/26) [Full Album Stream]

Forest Swords is the stage moniker of Liverpool-based music producer and artist Matthew Barnes from Wirral, UK. It’s a been a while since he stepped on stage of music business with his fantastic and acclaimed debut EP Dagger Paths, released in 2010. And now, his hugely awaited debut full-length is finally here. The first Forest Swords LP is entitled Engravings and was released  in the UK and Europe on August 26, 2013 via Tri Angle Records. US release will follow on September 17. But the North Americans of you don’t have to worry, the record is already streaming worldwide and in its entirety over at Pitchfork Advance. Give it a listen as soon as it’s available over there. Listen below to the first track unveiled off Engravings, Thor’s Stone, and to the incredible The Weight of Gold above.
