:: Absolutely lovin’ this one! Can picture people dancing in the sun when I’m listening…
Chasing Kurt are Pascal Blanché, Wojtek Kutschke and Lukas Poloczek [vocals]. The electro-pop trio – two thirds being Polish and one third German – is based in the small town of Giessen. The guys found together when Kutschke overheard Poloczek’s singing in a bar and invited him to feature on tracks he were producing with Blanché. Chasing Kurt have released five EP’s to date, and the new single From The Inside finally is the first taste of the band’s upcoming same-titled debut full-length. While the record will drop in June, the single already was released with the ‘From The Inside’ EP on April 19, 2013 via Suol Music. It includes two remixes of the song, one of them can be checked out below. The visually incredible music video is directed by the Berlin-based creative design and film company Wolf & Lamm. I’d describe it as minimalistic retro-style, but you can make up your own mind by watching the vid above.

That’s the impellent Factory Floor remix of Vondelpark’s track California Analog Dream. It’s the current single taken from the band’s debut album ‘Seabed‘, we posted about it earlier this year. The song was single-released on March 25, 2013 via R&R Records together with two quite differing remixes.
North-London’s still unsigned electronic trio Factory Floor is comprised of Gabriel Gurnsey, Dominic Butler and Nic Colk Void. Their version of California Analog Dream is a very powerful take on a rather smooth original song (listen to it below). Perfectly suited to open up Saturday night…

The double A-side single includes a remix of Dntl’s My Oprhaned Son by Die Vögel (listen to it below). The original version was released on Dntl’s album ‘Aimlessness’ on May 30, 2012 via Pampa.

:: Find myself very lucky being now able to post my favourite track off the current Justice album with such an incredibly terrific video! [Full-screen mode and decent headphones are strongly recommended!]
New Lands is the next song taken from the fabulous 2011 Justice album ‘Audio, Video, Disco.’. The track is now also released on the ‘New Lands EP’, including a terrific live version and three very different remixes. The EP was out on June 22, 2012 via Ed Banger Records. The elaborate official video is written, directed and edited by the director’s collective CANADA. It shows a futuristic foot-base-lacrosse-roller-game going rough and bloody. The video is, in my opinion, this year’s most tremendous effort in music videos together with The Shoes’ ‘Time To Dance‘. Listen below to SebastiAn’s version of New Lands, my favourite remix.

‘Wings’ is the next single taken from The Invisible’s new record ‘Rispah’. The electro-rock track was remixed by Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points. His take on ‘Wings’ deepens the electronic touch of the track and creates a dreamy atmosphere that will drive you away while listening. The remix will be released as b-side to the ‘Wings’ single on July 09, 2012 via Ninja Tune. If you wanna check out the original version of ‘Wings’, watch the official video below. It is directed by Mark Glenister & Joe Hunt.
