I really like the way Ellen and Thorbjörn have interpreted the song. It’s an epic video that lifts up the song just like that. Makes it big. Maybe more pure as well. Frontier Ruckus are an folk-rock four-piece from Detroit, Michigan. The band founded by school-time friends Matthew Milia [vocals/guitar] and David Jones [banjo] is further comprised of Zachary Nichols [trumpet/musical saw/melodica] and Ryan Etzcorn [drums]. Their music emphasizes the verbal element, the lyrically intense songs are all written by Matthew Milia. The band released their full-length debut ‘The Orion Songbook’ back in 2008, followed by an EP and another longplayer. Now it’s time for their third full-length offering: the double album ‘Eternity of Dimming’ was self-released digitally and physically via the band’s Bandcamp on January 29, 2013 (European release via Loose Music). Edinburgh is the new single by Mark Andrew Hamilton from Calgary, more famously known under his stage moniker Woodpigeon. The Vienna-based folk-rock singer and songwriter who has worked with over 70 collaborators both on record and in live performance is about to release his sixth studio album full-length. The record entitled ‘Thumbtacks + Glue’ will be released in the UK and Europe on February 25, 2013 Fierce Panda Records where Hamilton is signed to in Europe since last years ‘For Paolo’ EP. North American release follows on February 26 via Boompa Reords. Listen below to Sufferin’ Suckatash, the first track off the album that was published last December. It is the second EP by French dream-pop artist Raphael Pegase who simply uses his last name as stage moniker.
