:: Thirteen great and diverse songs. All expections met!
It’s finally time for the debut album by one of my favourite UK bands – London’s folk-rockers of To Kill A King. I’ve been following their musicals ways ever since their 2011 debut EP ‘My Crooked Saint’ and I’m pretty excited about this upcoming full-length release. The record produced by Jim Abbiss (Adele, Bombay Bicycle Club, Arctic Monkeys) is entitled ‘Cannibals With Cutlery’ and will be self-released on February 24, 2013. You can preorder the CD via the band’s Bigcartel page or digitally via iTunes. The first 500 physical copies are hand-signed by To Kill A King, so hurry if you wanna get a hand on one of those. Watch above the remarkable official video for the upcoming lead single Cold Skin. It’s directed by Jack King and asks the question ‘what would you do if you had just 5 minutes left till an atomic bomb hits’. To Kill A King will be supporting Bastille on their UK tour in March. Afterwards, they hit the road for their own UK headline tour. Check for upcoming dates in your area below.
Update: ‘Cannibals With Cutlery’ is now streaming in its entirety via the band’s Soundcloud. Listen to the stream below and enjoy! (February 20, 2013)
