Milagres are an New-York-based indie-rock five-piece. The band was founded in 2010 and chose their name, which is the Portuguese word for wonder, after frontman Kyle Wilson survived his serious injuries after an mountain climbing accident. Most of the songs of the band’s debut ‘Glowing Mouth’ where written while Wilson was bed-ridden. Having been signed unseen by Kill Rock Stars upon hearing the album, the record was released in North-America on September 11, 2011. European release followed shortly after viaUK label memphis Industries. In early 2012, the band was joined by their fifth member, full-time drummer Paul CJ Payabyab. The official video for Halfwaym the first single that was taken from the record, is directed by Dimitri Simakis for Valiant Effort. They have recently filmed a video for the upcoming new single, the title-track of ‘Glowing Mouth’. Keep your eyes peeled for it. Meanwhile, you can check out the song itself below.
