‘Wings’ is the next single taken from The Invisible’s new record ‘Rispah’. The electro-rock track was remixed by Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points. His take on ‘Wings’ deepens the electronic touch of the track and creates a dreamy atmosphere that will drive you away while listening. The remix will be released as b-side to the ‘Wings’ single on July 09, 2012 via Ninja Tune. If you wanna check out the original version of ‘Wings’, watch the official video below. It is directed by Mark Glenister & Joe Hunt.
Alex, Kev and Sam of Two Door Cinema Club have announced their awaited sophomore album. The record is entitled ‘Beacon’ and will be released in the UK and Europe on September 03, 2012 via Kitsuné Records. North-American release will follow on September 04 via Glassnote. Watch the album trailer above. The songs featured are highly promising and I’m quite curious if the the whole record is going to keep up to that. ‘Beacon’ will be available as eleven-track album or as deluxe edition including a second disc with fourteen songs recorded at the band’s live show at Brixton Academy in London. You can preorder the album in both versions here.

:: Stunning cover version. And I thought the original song couldn’t be any better…
This is Triggerfinger’s great and minimalistic take on Lykke Li’s beautiful ‘I Follow Rivers’. Their version has became a major hit for the three Rock’n'Roll gentlemen of Triggerfinger, including the number one chart position in der home country Belgium. The song was released as single on May 11, 2012 via Excelsior Recordings. Enjoy!

:: I really like this fine record a lot. A shame that it took the labels more than six months to release it in Europe.
‘Addicted To Progress’ is the first single taken from the third album by the Irish indie Rockers of The Coronas. The record entitled ’Closer To You’ was released in Ireland on November 11, 2011 via 3ù Records. These two stunningly beautiful songs are taken from the debut album of Keaton Henson. The record entitled ‘Dear…’ was released on April 02, 2012 via Oak Ten Records. Keaton Henson is a London-based, multi-talented artist. His designs and illustrations of shirts, skateboards and record cover art as well as stage settings are much in demand. With ‘Dear…’, debutes as a singer and songwriter who captures with his fragile voice and introspective, very personal folk compositions. Watch above the official video for Small Hands. It is written and directed by Joseph Mann employing beautiful puppets by Jonny Sabagh.
