:: To me, she definitely is the undoubted queen of songwriter-pop. Great music, timelessly classical!
Regina Spektor’s sixth studio album ‘What we Saw from the Cheap Seats’ is released today (May 28, 2012) in UK. Official worldwide release follows tomorrow on May 29, 2012 via Sire Records (Warner Bros. Music). The record is produced by Mike Elizondo and was recorded last summer in Los Angeles in six weeks time. It features older songs (Don’t Leave Me from her 2001 album Songs), a Nina Simone sample in Oh Marcello as well as new songs that were written by Regina after her critically acclaimed 2009 album Far.
