Young Man – 21 / New Album ‘Vol. 1′ (2012/05/22)

23 May

:: Another record that I simply can’t get enough of. Sometimes I wish I had nothin’ else to do so that I could spend the whole day listening to such brilliant music!

Colin Caulfield is the mastermind and songwriter behind the five-piece project Young Man. His second full-length album ‘Vol. 1′  was released yesterday (May 22, 2012) via Frenchkiss Records in the United States and via Rough Trade Distribution in Europe. Following the ‘Boy’ EP (2010) and ‘Ideas of Distance‘ (2011), the new album represents the second one in the Young Man trilogy which reflects conceptually on adolescence and growing-up. Listen above to ’21′, my absolute favourite song of the record.

‘Fate’ is the first official single taken from ‘Vol. 1′, released on May 18. The video is directed by Jordan Bahat. Watch it below.
