:: Has been one of my favourite tracks on the album from the start, and now it comes with a brilliant film clip… Enjoy!
This is the next single taken from Gotye’s fantastic album “Making Mirrors”, released August 19, 2011 via Samples ‘n’ Seconds Records. In Europe the, the album was finally released on December 16, 2011 via Universal Redcords. All songs are written and produced by Gotye (aka Wally de Backer), he also did the design and layout of the album. In ‘Easy Way Out’, Gotye played drums, percussion, guitar and orchestra samples,
lead and backing vocals.
The amazing stop motion video clip is directed by Darcy Prendergast (ohyeahwow.com)
These are the official live visuals Gotye is using to feature ‘Easy Way Out’ in his live shows. I was lucky having a ticket for the one he played last week in Berlin, and I gotta admit the visual are fitting the song just perfectly. The clip is animated and directed by Benjamin Drake and Eddie White.
